New Ambush Makeover Show with Carmindy Premieres on QVC Digital Channels
March 12, 2020: If you’ve missed watching Carmindy inspire everyday women to see the true beauty in themselves, the wait is over! Carmindy is going back to her roots of ambush makeovers in QVC’s latest original digital series, In(her) Beauty.
Each episode in the series will feature Carmindy finding a woman who deserves to give herself a little more attention and love. Carmindy will share her beauty tips and tricks with each woman in a personalized makeover using products from her line, Carmindy Beauty.
“I’m so excited to launch my new series where I help enable women to truly see the beauty they posses and teach them how to use less makeup with more impact to celebrate their uniqueness,” said Carmindy. “Hearing the personal stories of each of these special women and watching them transform into the best versions of themselves is a real confidence booster for them and for all who tune in!”
The first episode features a makeover with QVC team member, Gladys Nieves, who was identified by coworkers as constantly giving to others, including her family impacted by the hurricanes and earthquakes in Puerto Rico. Carmindy helps her realize that in addition to giving to others, she has to remember to give to herself.
“Being selected to receive this makeover from Carmindy was the surprise of a lifetime,” said Nieves. “It was an emotional experience for me to be recognized for all that I do for others and to have this time to feel good about myself. Carmindy has a way of making you feel so empowered and beautiful. While I was being ‘Carmindized’ I learned a lot about Carmindy’s philosophy, how she approaches makeup and got some great tips.”
A new episode will launch in the last full week of March and new episodes will be posted twice a month on Wednesdays at 9pm ET. In(her) Beauty can be seen on QVC’s Facebook page, IGTV, QVC Originals YouTube channel and our steaming channels (Amazon Fire TV and Roku).
