QVC, HSN Digital Series Invites Candid Conversations About Aging and Beauty

Multichannel

June 10, 2021: QVC and HSN recently launched a new streaming series: “(Pretty Much) Conversations About Beauty with People Over 40.” The series is available now on the QVC and HSN Streaming Service on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and LG, and will be added soon to QVC and HSN’s YouTube pages, Verizon Fios, and Xumo.

Each 20-minute episode features a candid, personal interview with a QVC or HSN program host or vendor as she goes through her daily hair or makeup routine from beginning to end. The dialog tackles common questions about going grey and getting Botox, along with such topics as beauty products for women of color and the importance of staying image-positive while aging. All products featured are from the guest’s own beauty bag, and any products available at QVC or HSN are listed at the end of each episode so customers can easily find them on QVC.com or HSN.com.

“We believe people are beautiful at every age, and we are designing increasingly personalized programming to help people express their inner beauty in affirming ways,” said Mike Gleason, Director of Content Development, Qurate Retail Group. “Our streaming service gives us virtually unlimited opportunities to experiment with new storytelling formats that target different slices of our broad, large customer base. This series is another example of our powerful digital content engine, through which we continue to create innovative video-centric experiences for our customers across multiple platforms.”
