QVC+ and HSN+ Joins Holiday TV Movie Ranks with Streaming Original ‘Holly and the Hot Chocolate’
November 22, 2022: The QVC+ and HSN+ streaming experience is joining the holiday TV movie ranks this Thanksgiving with the sweet debut of its first-ever movie, “Holly and the Hot Chocolate.” The film was dreamed up by QVC’s “In the Kitchen With David” host David Venable, who makes a cameo appearance as a hot chocolate vendor. Viewers will follow the adventure of Holly, a big city food critic who unexpectedly finds herself stuck in the small town of Pine Falls during Christmas. Surrounded by locals who love the season as much as she does, Holly soon learns at the center of their holiday spirit is a special hot chocolate recipe sold in the town square. With the help of a charming, albeit humbuggish, tow-truck driver, Holly gets to experience firsthand why Pine Falls is one of the best Christmas towns in America — and what makes their hot chocolate so magical.
Streaming exclusively on QVC+ and HSN+, “Holly and the Hot Chocolate” drops at midnight EST on November 24, just in time for the whole family to gather around and watch while enjoying Thanksgiving dessert. In addition, David will appear live on QVC Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. EST, and Nov. 27 at noon EST to sell the special hot chocolate featured in the movie, which was created in partnership with famed New York City dessert shop Serendipity. David will also share behind-the-scenes stories from the movie production and show off movie props from the set. Viewers will be able to shop David’s exclusive hot chocolate on the app or anytime on QVC.com.
