Cablefax Again Names Qurate Retail’s David Apostolico to Cable’s Top 100

David Apostolico, Senior Vice President, Platform Strategy, Development & Distribution for Qurate Retail Group, has been named to the 2021 Cablefax 100, marking the third consecutive year that he has been honored as one of the most influential leaders in the cable industry.

David is responsible for QVC and HSN’s strategic initiative to expand the reach of our curated broadcast and video commerce experiences across new media and digital commerce platforms, including over-the-top devices and services, shoppable apps, social media, digital over-the-air networks, mobile apps, and websites. QVC and HSN reach 218 million homes worldwide through our TV broadcasts and millions more through our streaming, digital, and social platforms.

David and his team work closely with a wide range of video distributors to increase the availability of QVC’s and HSN’s livestreams and of the brands’ integrated streaming service, which consists of five broadcast channels (QVC, QVC2, QVC3, HSN, and HSN2), a digital-only channel (QVC Now), a large selection of video on-demand, and original series developed for streaming. So far in 2021, QVC has launched on YouTube TV, QVC and HSN have launched on VIZIO SmartCast®, and the QVC and HSN Streaming Service has launched on Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Flex.
