Chief Merchandising Officer, Qurate Retail Group, and Chief Commerce Officer, QVC US
Mary Campbell became Chief Merchandising Officer, Qurate Retail Group, and Chief Commerce Officer, QVC US in October 2018. Qurate Retail Group comprises seven leading retail brands: QVC, HSN, Zulily, Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill and Grandin Road.
Mary leads Merchandising, Brand, Marketing and Digital Strategy for QxH, which comprises Qurate Retail Group’s two largest brands in the U.S. by revenue (QVC and HSN). She also leads Digital, Content, and Broadcast Operations for QVC US and is responsible for the growth and development of the QVC brand in the U.S. In addition, Mary oversees Merchandising and Brand for QVC globally.
During her over 20 years with QVC, Inc., Mary has held various executive leadership positions across the Merchandising, Planning and Commerce Platforms functions. Most recently, she was Chief Merchandising and Interactive Officer for Qurate Retail Group, overseeing the Group’s product leadership, platform evolution and consumer marketing agenda. Her team included Global Merchandising, the QVC US buying teams and the Interactive Commerce Experiences team.
Prior to this, Mary served as Chief Interactive Experience Officer, Qurate Retail Group, with responsibility for the Group’s ongoing transformation as one of the world’s largest multiplatform retailers. She previously served as Executive Vice President, Commerce Platforms for QVC, Inc., overseeing the translation of the QVC brand across TV, web, mobile, tablet and social to drive customer engagement and sales. During the six years when Mary led Commerce Platforms, QVC achieved its largest television reach, ecommerce and mobile penetration, and customer base ever.
Mary has more than 20 years of merchandising experience, including her success identifying and attracting several strategic brands and concepts to QVC. Prior to QVC, Mary spent five years with Target in merchandising.
Mary is widely recognized as a leader in video commerce, ecommerce and social commerce. Her honors include: Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) 2018 Woman of the Year-Programmer, National Retail Federation 2018 Power Player, the Cablefax 100 in 2018 and 2017, the Cablefax Most Innovative People in Multiscreen in 2017, Cablefax’s 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014 Most Powerful Women in Cable, Philadelphia Business Journal’s Tech Disrupters in 2017, Multichannel News’ Women to Watch in 2016, and Main Line Today’s 2015 Power Women. Mary is a member of the Accessories Council board of directors.
Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Connecticut State University.
